They worked great for converting Bose speaker wire to standard speaker wire.
I used these to connect a Bose Jewel Cube speaker system to my Sony amp. It worked great, no problem. I used a calibration mic to automatically detect the crossover between the Bose speakers and the standard subwoofer and everything sounds fine. I used black for the negative and red for the positive. This works best with thin wire, 18 gauge is best, 16 gauge is possible, but it fits snugly.
