Review on 👕 Pima Cotton T-Shirts for Men - Optimal Selection by Robert Wells

I've been experimenting with higher quality white cotton shirts. So far I've tried: Polished ApparelUniqloUnlikePolished Apparel makes a white t-shirt that costs about $19 per shirt, although the price drops sharply if you buy in packs of 3 or more and wait for random discounts. The shirts are made of 100% cotton (not Pima or Supima), but the workmanship and cut are of very high quality. I've had one of these shirts for over a year now and it still looks neat and has held its shape and color very well. Uniqlo makes a white t-shirt for around $15 a t-shirt. The shirts are made of Supima cotton (perhaps a better material than Pima cotton). Although the Supima cotton should be excellent I'm a little disappointed with this shirt. The fabric is twisted to have a rough feel rather than the silky feel that Supima cotton typically feels. It's also quite short, making it difficult to carry tucked in. On the other hand, the material is durable, washes well and keeps its shape and color for more than a year. As opposed to the white t-shirt which is around $45 per shirt. The shirts are made from Pima cotton, which is considered to be softer, more comfortable and more durable than regular cotton. It feels very silky right out of the bag! This material definitely feels more comfortable than Uniqlo's Supima cotton. The cut is better too, although it's still *slightly* shorter than I'd like. Another inch length would be helpful. I have washed and worn this shirt once and it has held up well. As beautiful as the shirt is, it's hard to see how it justifies the price. Is it three times better than a Uniqlo shirt or a Polished Apparel shirt? I haven't used it for long but I have to say no. The Unlikely T-Shirt is certainly excellent, but I really think they rated it as unattainable and above its perceived value.
