I bought this hand mixer, as did a few other people at Target, pretty cheap. Although it lasted about 6 months I think it's because I only used it once out of the first 5. After using it twice more within 6 months it was too much for this little 125 watt machine. It's probably best to think of it as a disposable hand mixer. The kind you only use a couple of times before the motor burns out and you're left with a smoking piece of plastic. Of course, you don't expect an item this cheap to be of the best quality (or even good quality), but you do expect the product to be good enough to last at least four uses. Unfortunately this was not the case.
