This actually reduced the resolution recognized by all computers/displays connected to it.
The image on my display went from a good, sharp image to a blurry and incorrect format. I have connected two different monitors and three different computers and the maximum resolution visible is 1280 x 720. At least one of the monitors has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It's useless junk if you want a sharp display. The main input comes from the USB dock to VGA port A. The output port goes to the monitor. If I remove this switch everything is fine. I was expecting a simple hardware switch, but it appears to be electronic on the inside, although no power supply is required.
