This actually reduced the resolution recognized by all computers/displays connected to it.

The image on my display went from a good, sharp image to a blurry and incorrect format. I have connected two different monitors and three different computers and the maximum resolution visible is 1280 x 720. At least one of the monitors has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It's useless junk if you want a sharp display. The main input comes from the USB dock to VGA port A. The output port goes to the monitor. If I remove this switch everything is fine. I was expecting a simple hardware switch, butโ€ฆ

Manual switch if using something that requires VGA - a little "haze " on one port

I need a manual switch to expand my dock's output to 3 monitors and still have one for the other Computer to use when I don't need any monitors. This initially worked well for my needs, more recently I've found that using Port/Select B on desktop creates what I would describe as haze or double images. For example, desktop icons on selected port A are sharp, but after switching to BI you may see a slight shadow or overlay of the same icon next to the original. For now it's still usable and Iโ€ฆ

Okay it works - like

well it seems to work. Installation was easy, you just connected the cables. It's easy to use, you just have to click the buttons. What I don't understand is why I need to adjust the resolution. I would think it's just a "passthrough" device that just breaks the connection and opens another one. Apparently I was wrong. This device does something different with the signal from the PC. When I plugged in my Dell monitor, my computer no longer recognized it, thinking it was a generic monitor with a
