What I love about this cable is that when I insert it into the phone you hear a click like it's snapping into place. As soon as I plug my phone in it won't turn on unless I take it out. With other cables, there have been times where no matter how "well" I think my phone is connected to the network, it will either disconnect at the slightest movement, or if I'm using my phone while it's charging, the connection will kind of drop is separated. The design of this cord means that when I want to use my phone I don't have to worry about squeezing the phone cord, which for me usually causes the cord and connector to bend and eventually break. With this design, since it's already shifted to the side, I don't have that problem at all. Not to mention that even if you bend the cable, it doesn't look like it's going to break. The wrap around this cord is really strong and even when my cats play with it it still looks brand new.
