I use these to illuminate a culdesac display for our neighborhood. The lights work, they are adjustable to highlight to best advantage. My lights get full sun all day long and last a good 8 hours. If solar panel doesn't get much sun on a gloomy grey day, the lights don't last as long but this does not effect how well it absorbs light next sunny day. Very bright. These come with a short stake for the ground. Alternatively, I use a piece of rebar to elevate my lights to highlight to best advantage. I have a total of 4 lights on the display . Highly recommend.
