Hard mattress, not soft.
Update 2 weeks after 05/04/2021 - I have to say I am very disappointed with this mattress. It's not as soft as it looks. I haven't had a single good night in 2 weeks. I read that it takes about 4 weeks to adjust but to be honest I don't see any improvement. I wish I had gone to the mattress square now. If you like a firm mattress, then this option is for you. If you're looking for a soft mattress, keep shopping. Received my mattress today. I will wait a full 72 hours before using it. I will update my review after trying it! One person can open a compressed mattress, but two people are better!
