I was very confused about which size is suitable for which age group. I wanted to buy something for my 9 year old niece and decided on size L-XL. When I got it, it couldn't fit her. It is good that I have another niece who is 3 years old and I will give her too. I hope that works. I have a couple of CC hats that I love but I can tell you the quality doesn't compare to this one. It looks cheap and I hope the chunky stitching doesn't bother you too much, although it fits!
