Thick Warm Winter Merino Wool Hiking Trekking Boot Crew Socks - 2 Pairs for Kids, Men, Women Review

The material is soft and comfortable, but they are very poorly constructed and finished. The package sent to me straight out of the box had at least 20 hooks and threads sticking out. It's a mess. They are by no means left untouched.

My shoe size is 12. I'm wearing these socks barefoot at home this winter, so I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. I ordered size 14/16 and the socks fit just right. Mind you, they fit very well, but I was lucky that I ordered a size up. The socks are warm and comfortable. I am happy with the purchase.

I've read a lot of conflicting reviews about these socks. so waited with little fear that they would become problematic. Upon inspection they were fine with no obvious sewing faults but I wasn't sure. still cautious. Pretty good shape after 5 or 6 washes which doesn't say much but very large warm men's socks have limited inputs. I'll wait and see but it's fair to give them a real 3.5 stars

I have several pairs of PREVIOUS Glenmearl wool socks that were great but are no longer sold. It was the closest I could find. "Size 10-13" in this product barely fits my foot even though I wear size 10. The ankle of the sock is pointlessly thick and a bit stiff. Very disappointing - wish they had continued making their previous product.

The product initially looks good, feels good and fits well. I bought and received them on July 1st, 2021. It is now 08/26/2021. In less than two months I had holes in my socks. the balls of the feet were at rest. I have wool socks that I bought from Wegwam if I remember correctly and they lasted me a couple of years. Would I buy them again? No, the quality of the material is not strong enough for the intended purpose. Hope that helps.

I wear women's shoes in size 6.5 and bought them one size smaller. They fit perfectly. They are soft and warm and absorb moisture well. I have washed and dried them many times and have not noticed any change. The biggest problem I have, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that I can't wear them with pants that are loose in the calves/shins (like sweatpants). You will slide down. They go just as well with leggings or skinny jeans as other socks.

Excellent customer service, was able to get a refund without much hassle. Although you have to pay for return shipping that was the only downside. The description wasn't just misleadingly written about being fat. and warm. The size didn't fit either, I ordered other "large" socks with the same "sizes" numbers and they run significantly smaller.
