Review on Thick Warm Winter Merino Wool Hiking Trekking Boot Crew Socks - 2 Pairs for Kids, Men, Women by Trevor Blazis

I'm new to wool socks. I live in Southern California but get frostbite in the fall and winter so my doctor recommended warm socks. Actually a pair of red and pink socks. They aren't advertised as pink but I like them so that wasn't a downside for me. I literally couldn't wear her right out of the box because she was so itchy. cute! I have washed these socks in the washing machine and tumble dryer XL with maximum amount of fabric softener in the dryer, but I just can't wear them. I mentioned THIS IS SO ITCH. You are not warm; On the heels you can see your skin through the fabric and they sit nice and loose on me. I read a review that said something along the lines of. When you put your feet in, they are like fleece or soft padding inside. Oh no. Maybe all wool socks itch? But it's not for me.
