We have used these for our newborn for the past month and couldn't ask for more from a nappy. There were some significant "outputs" and the only time it's a problem is when the little ruffles are pinned around the legs. If we are sure that all the ruffles are open and only the elastic is tight around his legs, these work great. Remember we also have a boy so includes "no leaks" on top of that. If you have a small child (6-7 pounds) consider using these instead of huggies. Huggie's newborns are much larger, which has contributed to some leaks. We will continue to use Pampers if the plus sizes don't change, but I don't expect them to change.
