About 3 weeks after purchase, the mouse stopped working. I've restarted the laptop, replaced the mouse's battery, even tried using it on another laptop, but plugging the dongle into the USB port didn't result in the device being recognized. I used the chat which took 2 days because the response was very slow and as a result I was told to call the operator on the phone. I followed these instructions to get an agent to check everything on the case only to tell me I was connected to the wrong department. He forwarded me to the technical support "Accessories". I double checked all the details of the case with the new agent but again I was told I was in the wrong department. Now I'm in contact with a third agent who also tells me I'm in the wrong department. The call has been in progress for 15 minutes and is still not connected to the correct department. It's just a $20 mouse. Can someone just give me a loan or send me a new one? Waste of time for little money but HP should be better.
