I don't know what everyone is confused about this thing. it's cheap and fits great. Provides extra protection from scratches and falls, and the color looks great! If I had to be picky, I'd like the black plastic to be more "graphite" like the 3DS. or I want my 3DS to actually be black because my OCD will trigger when they don't match. But seriously, a great product that you will love.

One of the side arms broke when I tried to carefully remove the case. The other side broke when I first dropped it about 6 inches. I liked the color and look of this case, but it's not very durable. Now the top half will slide off if I'm not careful. I'm pretty sure if I fall again the tops will fall off and my DS will be damaged.

I've hardly used my 3ds and have taken great care of it and thought it would be a great way to protect it. Almost half a year later, it has an ugly scratch on the outside that wasn't caused by a fall or a slip, but by a bandage that I connected to the console. Very disappointed but at least it's easy to put on and take off and feels solid.

This case is durable and I love the color but there are two problems. First, the power button is more difficult to use. I like this issue because I'm playing a game and my finger accidentally touches the power button and the 3DS XL immediately turns off. The second problem is that it is a bit difficult to take out the cartridge. Those two issues aside, I like the case.

This is a good lightweight case that doesn't add too much bulk to my new 3ds. i love color I was a bit surprised at how well it protects my device as I am very clumsy and have dropped it numerous times. The only thing that bothers me is the power button. The cover over the button makes it very annoying to press to turn on and off. Turning it off is particularly difficult and requires a lot more pressure than it should. Otherwise, I am very happy that I bought the case.

I was concerned that the wording would be sized for a regular 3ds xl, but "Nintendo 3ds xl 2015 model" is really new XL -Size.
