Review on JBL Tune 215 Ear Headphones by Agata Kozio ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

For quite some time now, JBL devices have been standard issue, and I myself use a Tune 205bt headset. Not including the occasional missing pad on the plugs themselves, she is easy and trustworthy, and I loved my time with her. And then one day I saw the tune 215bt, which is nearly identical to the previous model but has type-c charging (so you can use the cable that came with your phone to charge it, rather than having to bring a separate microUSB cable) and has a battery life that is 1.5 times longer ( apparently mainly due to version 5 of bluetooth). Take-e-eat! Yes, that was a miserable failure on all of our parts. The model is improved over the 205th in several respects. Sound quality is something I can't comment on because I didn't detect any change from the 205th. One must, however, give it a shot if they hope to appreciate this tune. Scenario: you're listening to music on your headphones while talking on the phone, and you go for the headphones to turn up the volume. attempted to sit down but was unsuccessful; signal died and headset detached from transmitter. Just clenching your fist around the control unit (the one with the buttons) or turning your back on the source will cut off the connection. Locate yourself and stay put if you value a steady link. A wire clip was also attached to the second wire so that the two may be joined when worn around the neck. Throw away years of collected garbage and start over. After several days of misery, I impeached the new headset in favor of the tried-and-true 205th. What I really want to ask JBL at this point is: why are you doing this?

Pros
  • Type-C recharging, Bluetooth 5.0 Extended battery life
Cons
  • Dependability of the Link
