It just didn't work out of the box. It spins up, makes two loud clicks and stops the discs. That's all, the computer does not see it. Moreover, by the packaging you can’t say that it was dropped or somehow mechanically affected. I got it sealed, even without fingerprints (this is perfectly visible on hard drives) and contacts without traces of connection. In general, Seagate has completely stopped liking me for about 5 years now. But this CD was bought for work without consulting me, and added to my personal statistics on Seagates. Look for a more reliable manufacturer, with a lower percentage of defects.
