Sooo thin because it's difficult to assemble. Description: This is the second one we have bought. We thought it would be great for virtual school days and wouldn't take up much space. which he does *decently* for both. However, the screw holes for both of our benches were wrong. We checked twice and even three times that all parts correspond to the instructions. One had a screw hole so bad you had to force the board to push it in and it broke the board on the opposite side. The other bench had two screw holes and we had to carefully use a drill to insert the screws. It didn't break. Both are flimsy and not durable. We will replace them with better products soon if we cannot replace the hardware. I will not buy them again or recommend them to a friend as I don't want them wasting my money and time.
