Edit. How do I upgrade from 5 stars to 1 star? Here's what happens after you gain some "experience" with this electronic catastrophe. Although my LiFePO4 battery charged successfully, it generated so much electrical noise that it destroyed an Icom ham radio in the process. This $1,000+ radio was connected to this charger when it was destroyed. (The radio is on all the time, but on standby, like most modern televisions.) During investigation, it was determined that the electronic circuitry in this charger generated so much electrical noise that it turned the radio off. This charger generates more than 120 dB static DC to the atmosphere and to the power line. While this charger was on, the gauges on the electronic devices in the house went haywire. In the middle of this process, the main internet router went down. The day was clear, sunny, not a cloud in the sky, so lightning didn't strike nearby. This radio had previously worked the same way for a year but with a lead acid battery and a standard charger to power it. If you have something valuable connected to your LiFePO battery, do not buy this charger. As well as using it to charge my LiFePO4 30ah battery, I also did a 'repair' on a 12V lead-acid battery that had been inactive for a while. time and will not charge from my regular 10 amp charger. I spent half a day on "repair" and then fully charged the battery. A few days later it's still holding 12.7V, which is perfect for a lead-acid battery. One small question remains. When I first charged my LiFwPO4 30Ah it never showed more than 1.5 amps so I have a question about its current rating of 6 amps at 12 volts.
