I purchased this inductive sensor to control the feeding of rifle cases in my annealer. It’s rated 6-36v DC. The power supply and the motor it controls is 12v. The problem is the output from the sensor was @ 4v and instead of dropping to zero once the sensor was activated (which is what you’d expect in a normally closed sensor), it increased the voltage to 6v! Either way, it’s not going to work in a 12v system. So, back it goes and we’ll try a different brand.
