I have a small dark bathroom with a mirror over the sink. This mirror makes such a big difference when I'm doing makeup, plucking my eyebrows, putting on contacts, etc. No distortion. The ring light is controlled by pressing the power button. I wish it was a bit brighter, but if your room isn't as dark as mine, great for you. My only complaint is the way the mirror is attached to the gooseneck with a round hinge. Sometimes the mirror wants to turn, when I turn it up I want to lock it in place. All in all I'm glad I bought it and it has made such a difference in my skincare and skincare routine. I can really see now! And the suction cup is top notch, it didn't move no matter how much I moved the gooseneck.
