I bought the HL-X. Installed it on the right side of my 10.5" pistol at a 90° angle. Very bright. The programming is a great feature, I chose low/high. runs on a monolithic top rail) you're pretty stuck with the included rubber mounts or 3M tape which isn't really an option.The rubber mounts have front to back play which sucks for a $100 flashlight.The front derailleur has two small holes to attach it to a wooden or screw plastic foregrip. My particular handguard only has 5 rails on the ends on top but M-Lok on top. So I drilled holes to 3/16" so I could install some M-Lok bolts and T-nuts . This allowed me to securely mount the M-Lok pressure switch on top of the very flat handguard. I was also able to route the cable so it was protected and out of the way. So when purchasing this flashlight, be aware that you may need to get creative with your mounting solution if you don't want to spend extra money.
