When you first unpack the folded softbox and remove it from the plastic bag, make sure it is as far away from you as possible. I figured it would fold out the same as my reflectors; with a little 'popping'. But no! This soft box popped out and hit my nose so hard I thought I was going to pass out. Other than that, all I had to do was watch a video and some photos of the softbox to figure out how to assemble it. Do not worry. The plastic piece holding the flash broke off when I tried to insert the Cactus RF60 into the mount. The bracket that comes with this softbox is NOT suitable for ALL flashes. My cheap little plastic based Rokinon flash fits in the unit but not my metal based Cactus RF60 flash. I need a base to hold my flash on the mount so it doesn't fall off. Otherwise so far so good. And I have an internal white diffuser as well as an external diffuser. I can't fold it back and put it in my pocket. So I just leave it folded in quarters. If I tried to fold it up enough to put it in the suitcase, I'd be afraid to take it out again for fear of getting punched in the face again.
