Not good for collecting compost. You will need a plastic liner. Inner container has venting holes.
Nice and sturdy. Be aware that inside container has holes for venting; therefore, not the best for collecting compost as you will need a bag liner to prevent leaking. We like to keep the can under an overhang right outside our kitchen door to collect food scraps. We tried using bags that say "compostable" but they deteriorate in the can and leak anyway.
- Lightweight and easy to move around as needed
- The pedal may be too noisy for some customers
