Quiet is everything
I only have 16 cardinals, half a dozen Julias and a few snails. First of all, all three are healthy types. The water we get in this area is not very rich in minerals so it seemed necessary. I have used this material for fishing and the fish seem happy. Like human vitamins, it might not make much of a difference, but it's better than nothing. I just use it more for peace of mind. Good source of calcium for snails.
