I love the ease of use of this mug. The handle is very comfortable and the lid opens/closes easily. I bought this because I'm a tea lover and some of my favorite teas are loose. This mug doesn't stay hot as long as some of my travel mugs, but due to its size, I can usually finish my tea before it gets too cold. However, it sweats with cold drinks, so you have to use a coaster. I wish the filter basket was a tighter fit and you could use the tea in a cup and filter it as you drink. That's how I used it and the filter came loose causing me to get tea leaves when I took a sip. I'll try to put the leaves in a basket and take them out before I drink next time. I would give 5 stars if the filter was tighter and I could drink with the filter. I'm a morning traveler and don't always have time to steep my tea before leaving for work. All in all, I definitely recommend this mug. Edit: Basket doesn't work better when you put tea in and take out when the cup isn't full. I've been dishwasher safe since I got it and last time it had a hole in the inner glass layer. It definitely wasn't scratched by anything and was on the top shelf. Now he is unusable. I think I definitely recommend washing your hands if you do this.
