Can this endure any abuse or crash. no When I first installed it, I forgot to tighten one of the clamps. A few seconds later the tripod and my phone were on the ground. He fell into a carpeted room. One of the tripod legs bent. It's listed as a 50" tripod, but I actually think it performs much better at a lower height. The legs become very thin when the tripod is fully extended. Summary: If you need this tripod for very moderate use and don't need the full height of 50 inches, this might be for you. If not, then I would look for a better tripod. Pros: The mount holds the phone pretty tight. It has many angle and height adjustments. The bag is convenient to carry. Cons: Cheap quality. covered with plenty of rubber to avoid scratching the uncovered phone.
