EXCELLENT (TESTED) TEMPERATURE HOLDING
Before purchasing I searched the internet for temperature holding properties but found nothing. Also emailed the manufacturer for test data with no response but bought a thermos anyway. I did a simple performance test myself by flooding the unit with boiling water, refilling it after 5 minutes (boiling water) at 212F, then putting it in the fridge at 38F overnight. After 10 hours, the water was still quite hot, reading 155°F with a calibrated thermometer, well above the standard 140°F holding temperature for hot food.
