Great for making yogurt

I use this to make yogurt. I heat the milk to 110 degrees. Add yoghurt mixture. And let it rest for 10 hours. After 10 hours, the temperature of the finished yoghurt dropped by only 6 degrees.

It is very practical and can withstand a lot!

Very helpful. My father recently became ill and has to stay in the hospital for a few months. The container can hold a lot of food and keep it warm enough for lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend it to others!

EXCELLENT (TESTED) TEMPERATURE HOLDING

Before purchasing I searched the internet for temperature holding properties but found nothing. Also emailed the manufacturer for test data with no response but bought a thermos anyway. I did a simple performance test myself by flooding the unit with boiling water, refilling it after 5 minutes (boiling water) at 212F, then putting it in the fridge at 38F overnight. After 10 hours, the water was still quite hot, reading 155°F with a calibrated thermometer, well above the standard 140°F holding…

Keeps steamed food warm

Ideal for insulated cookware. I packed some brew for school when it wasn't on the stove. When I was at lunch 4 hours later, it was very hot. So hot I had to wait for it to cool before eating it. The design is also beautiful and minimalistic. The construction is solid and of high quality. What I really like about this food jar is that it comes with a 5 year guarantee. It's odd that this feature isn't listed anywhere as it's a generous guarantee. This guarantee alone makes me prefer this glass to

Useful for storing cold cuts

I use this for cold rather than hot dishes. Fits easily in my sports cupboard and in my book backpack. I pre-chill the thermos and cold cuts (ingredients for sandwiches). The meat plate is placed in the lower plastic container. ice in the upper bin. Always transport or store upright. Really keeps cold cuts much longer than any other container that fits where I put it. Even more if I renew the ice. I can use this to make sandwiches for a few days and a loaf of bread in my locker. Not 5 stars…

Pros
  • Wide range
