Ideal for insulated cookware. I packed some brew for school when it wasn't on the stove. When I was at lunch 4 hours later, it was very hot. So hot I had to wait for it to cool before eating it. The design is also beautiful and minimalistic. The construction is solid and of high quality. What I really like about this food jar is that it comes with a 5 year guarantee. It's odd that this feature isn't listed anywhere as it's a generous guarantee. This guarantee alone makes me prefer this glass to other brands. Overall, this is a great insulating glass that insulates very well. It's strong and durable and comes with a great guarantee. It's expensive, but the durability and insurance you get makes it worth it.
