Birthday gift in my review

My two year old daughter loves these! She got them for her birthday and this was the gift she loved the most! If your child loves to dance I recommend these!

Pros
  • Awesome toy for babies & toddlers!!! They all love it!
Cons
  • Great fun, removed bells for safety.

Choking Hazard! best in my review

My 8 month old was able to get the bell off and tried to put it in her mouth. Luckily, I was right there and stopped her. There’s conflicting age recommendations on this product description but it’s definitely not safe for babies.

Pros
  • 1 × beech ring, 3 × bell, 9 ×ribbon
Cons
  • Could become tangled or knotted if not handled carefully

Broke on first day of play

Wooden circle broke into three pieces on the day it was opened. Unfortunate because they really enjoy the other one. Just not sturdy enough.

Pros
  • Cute. Good quality. Fun for art, drama, or play therapy.
Cons
  • May be too simplistic for older toddlers

my new go-to gift for toddlers!

Littles love these hand kites! I've bought two sets as gifts for toddlers. The wooden ring fits their hands, they can control the noise and the fluttering ribbons give them something to explore. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Great for sensory play.
Cons
  • I love the concept. Poor quality. Bell fell off the first time we played with it.

CHOKING HAZARD! BELLS FALL OFF!

BEWARE! The ribbon holding the bells on is very thin. The day after I gave my 1 year old this toy to play with, I found a broken ribbon on the floor. It had been severed by the bell rubbing back and forth. I still cannot find the loose bell so I'm anxious every day she will find it some where and choke on it.

Pros
  • The toddlers love them. They’re fun!
Cons
  • Some parents may find it too expensive for what it offers

Beautiful, well made toy

My 11 month old loves these hand kites! They are beautiful, well made and a great open ended toy to inspire creativity and muscle movement. They also double as decor when not in use. Highly recommend these hand kites!

Pros
  • 0 months and up
Cons
  • Could be seen as a trendy or fad toy with limited longevity

Choking hazard! - my new review

Love this item but beware that the bells come off VERY easily. I removed them and my 9m loves playing with the ribbons! This product either needs more secure attachments for the bells or to remove them altogether.

Pros
  • Encourage creative play and exercise at the same time!
Cons
  • Could be difficult for some babies to grasp or manipulate

Perfect hand kite! for my opinion

Fun for both our 8 year old daughter and 4 year to son to "fly" around. Also added a little more rainbow decor for the children's rainbow playroom. Definitely worth the cost. Would have liked the ribbons to be a bit longer but it was still a great value. Would definitely recommend. Good Buy.

Pros
  • My baby loves to play with them. They seem sturdy.
Cons
  • Could pose a choking hazard if not monitored closely

Great budget friendly buy!

Love these. Bought them for my 2 month old when he started developing an affinity for my hair. He’s 5 months now and is still obsessed with them. We take them in the car, and to the high chair. Always keeps him busy.

Pros
  • Quality product, just like the description.
Cons
  • May not survive rough play from more active children

So pretty!: my feedback

My initial thought was I could make these myself. And I could but not for less money than they are selling for here, and with a baby, certainly not the time. I got these because for Mini's 9 month ages and stages assessment one of the tasks (he failed) was pincher grip picking up a piece of string. Until that moment I had studiously avoided giving him bits of string (choking hazard? Who knows.) A friend suggested these as a solution. I don't know if they helped with his picking up string with a

Pros
  • Set of 2 waldorf hand kites
Cons
  • Not a versatile toy that can be used for different developmental stages

Bright colors good for me

My 4 month old son loves these. One is tied to his play gym while the other he plays with while sitting in his boppy. The strings are long and are tightly wound on the wooden piece.

Pros
  • 6 x 5.6 x 1 inches
Cons
  • Not easily transportable for on-the-go playtime

Baby loves string: my feedback

My 9 mo loves playing with string, so I wanted to give her a fun alternative to the stuff she finds around the hour. Came in and they were beautiful, however the strings were too long for my liking. Just trimmed one and plan on giving her the other one when she is older and and can hold it in the wind.

Pros
  • This montessori hand kite makes a great baby sensory toy
Cons
  • Could distract from other important learning activities for babies

A New Favorite best in my review

This is a fun little toy. My kiddo loves to drag it around, rub the ribbons, and chomp on that wooden ring. Since it was a two pack I gave the other to my niece, who also loves it. Safe stocking stuffers for one year olds are tricky, so this was a good fine.

Pros
  • My 8 month old loves these! They are great.
Cons
  • Dangerous around the neck choking hazard!Ribbon is too long. Can wrap around a child’s neck!

You need these! in my review

I held off on buying these because I thought I could easily make them myself. I added up how much all of the supplies would cost and decided buying them already made was a way better option. My baby (6 months) absolutely loves these, he pulls and chews and waves it all around. The quality is great no lose strings even after being played with almost every day for over a month. I love that it comes with two so I can keep one in the house and one togo.

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Could potentially cause frustration for babies who cannot control the movement of the ribbons

Great quality children’s toy

This is a high quality product, from the wooden ring to the colorful ribbons. It’s great that the ribbons are not too long so the kids don’t trip over themselves. The only thing is that the rings were a little smaller than I expected (but not an issue at all); Posting a picture of the rings compared to an adult hand for those who have trouble picturing given measurements like me. Overall, the kids and I really like this product. Pretty good value compared to making them yourself too.

Pros
  • I loved these for my 7 month old baby
Cons
  • May become boring for babies after a short time
