I was excited to order this for my daughter, but over a month later and we still haven't used it because the smell is so strong and overbearing. I put it over the vent multiple times to air our and it just ended up making the entire downstairs smell. I guess it is something in the paint for the letters, but it doesn't smell like paint. The toy is good, the bag is very convenient to hold everything and keep everything together. The cards have a little bit of laminate to them, but not to the point they're waterproof which isnt a problem. My genuine complaint is on the cards each letter is a different color, but if a letter in one of those words is yellow it is nearly impossible to see even for me. My Granddaughter loved this game! (she is 2 1/2) but she was trying to match the word "shell” and could only find one "L”! I thought she was just not looking well enough and sure enough, we only got one letter "L”. Definitely, check the letters out when you get this. Not sure how we can get more "L”s.

This was how the package arrived, while its still useable this was supposed to be a gift and now I need to figure out how to repackage it.

Not as pictured. Letters are too small and that’s pretty much the only thing that was good about it. Not enough site word cards. Could have added a few extra and would have made this product better.

This is the best way to learn letter recognition, match letters to sounds and then sound out words! I’ve bought flash cards, abc mouse, learn to read books, workbooks but nothing really was working well. This is a great 1st step to learning to read! Also age is an important parameter 5 is about the appropriate time for kids to start to "get it” so be kind to little ones and yourself if they don’t yet!

I love the concept. I bought this for my 4 yr old granddaughters for Christmas, But when it arrived In a nice big box with lots of padding it Looked like it had been through a real hard time. It was all bent up, torn and smashed. If it was new, it didn’t look fit for a gift. I had to remove it from its packaging and just put in my own box.

I like nothing about these products. Flimsy, tiny and look like a 50 cent toy. I’m Embarrassed to give them as Christmas gifts I don’t order online a lot and this product just prove to me that it’s a waste of money to do so the customer certainly takes a chance. These look nothing like the pictures.

I.got this for my granddaughter who is 5. Some of the words and pictures were not something a little girl might know. Eg. fog and it just showed a big brown like scribble cloud. She got bored with it quickly.

A lot of flash cards. The only thing is it could have used one more set of letters to be able to spell more than 5 letter words. But other than that I like the product

Letters nicely made, smooth to touch. Most words are appropriate, a few not preschool relatable. A nice addition would be to also include the letters in capitals, which would add another activity for matching up the letters. I purchased a similar learning tool which includes much more for $5 more. I feel this tool is over priced!

We use these for homeschooling and they hold up really well and are easy to use. The kids enjoy spelling and reading now that we use See and Spell.

My kids love them and they’re a great educational tool my only issue was we were missing a letter I so about a third of the words he can’t do but if it had the I it’d be perfect

I was hoping that the cardboard cards are magnets and that the letters will stick to the boards but that is not the case. For the price they are too basic and for a child is hard to keep the letters in place on the board

I gave it three stars cuz it was missing some of the wood letters it needed to complete the words. Was disappointed with quality control for the price I payed. Just returned it and got a refund. (If it was all there would have kept it)

I must say that they are great for teachers the LO how to spell the biggest reason for only 4 stars is the letters are different sizes and some are uppercase while the others aren't. All in all, if they would be the same size letters it would be a 5 star but definitely gets the job done.

Both boxes are torn and dirty. If you are planning to give it as a gift do not buy. Seems someone used it before and returned.
