Only issue I had was figuring out how to cut it to length. hint: a hacksaw works, just stick the cable in a vice. Turned this into two 5' loops to go around trees, and 10 and 12' sections to run from trees to sunshade. Had enough left over to redo one if I made an error (I didn't) and just enough connectors to do what I wanted. This holds the radar detector securely in place. I did not use the two suction holder that came with the radar detector because I heard it tended to come loose so I cannot compare this to the two suction holders. But simple logic would suggest three suction cups are better than two. I have had good luck and no slipping or dropping with this holder.See full review

Licensed electrician here: I bought these because another commenter said that they are UL-listed--they are NOT UL listed, and do not have a junction box as part of the assembly, as another commenter said. Nor can they be mounted to a junction box, so the only way to install them is with an exposed splice, which is a fire hazard and not acceptable in any situation--not even for temporary installations. I have a 2014 Jeep Compass the 2 seats at the front are okay. Since my seat head won't come off, it was difficult to fix but it's my fault I didn't pay attention to the picture of the instruction and just buy them. And they say it would fit but it does not. Let's not even talk about the back seat 😂 I have 2 head instead of 3 and they are connected directly to the seat so that was a hard No to put in 💺.
