Licensed electrician here: I bought these because another commenter said that they are UL-listed--they are NOT UL listed, and do not have a junction box as part of the assembly, as another commenter said. Nor can they be mounted to a junction box, so the only way to install them is with an exposed splice, which is a fire hazard and not acceptable in any situation--not even for temporary installations. These CANNOT be installed in a way that complies with the National Electrical Code.

I've had half of the original order I made fail in full bright white mode after 2 years- and they no longer respond to the remote. They must have been older versions, as the second order I placed are physically different from the first set. That being said, I hope these revised lights don't have this problem anymore. These are exactly what we were hoping for in our recording studio. Provides great lighting options that really makes the environment vibe for our clients. Easy to install.Edit- 14 months later 1 light has stopped responding. Had to switch it out. Minus 1 star for lack of longevity.

Warm white is true warm white, not just some greenish version of it. Much brighter than I need. I use them as outdoor soffit lights (under eaves). I Have them spaced apart 8 to 10 feet. There are three brightness settings. I set them to medium or low brightness. Good to know I can make then brighter when I need, like when we have parties. They keep their memory when turned off. I bought this set to replace the LED strip lights in my daughter's room. Installation was really easy. Lights are very bright and the remote control works pretty well.

Like the easy installation not a fan of the quick connecting connectors they gave would prefer something a little more heavy duty used a 3 and 3/4 inch hole saw make the whole fit was nice and tight

These should not be sold in the US. These will not pass an electrical inspection because the light is not able to be grounded. Returning, saving a few bucks is not worth the risk to me.

Love these, so does daughter. Connector is not great but if you are handy at all, workaround is easy. Bright whites, several other colors at the click of a button. Put two in same room. Can controll them separate or together depending on how you point the remote.

Easy to hook up and the color display is "awesome". I installed two of these over my corner whirlpool tub and "Wow". True value for the money spent and would highly recommend.

Easy to Install, worked as expected. My only comment is be sure you have a 4 inch or smaller opening. The bezel is almost exactly 4" and i had to use a bezel to accommodate for my opening which was a bit larger than 4 inches in diameter.

These are not UL listed. They come with short conductors that would never be able by themselves to be wired into a box. I had to strip those back and butt connect to a longer tail wire. I heat shrunk that and then ran another heat shrink tube longer over that and up onto the new wires. Now I have a length I can cut as needed. Lights install easy and look cool.

They were perfect for the room we were working on. The owner wanted to be able to change the colors and still have a brite white light when needed

Great product. See photos. I used thermostat wire 18/2 and added a junction box. made the install easy. Wiring from the unit is maybe 22 gauge.Great value 6 pieces for $35. How can you beat that.

These lights were easy to install. I took the old can lights out wired the new lights in and they work great. The regular lights were brighter than I thought they were going to be. I would recommend them.

much to my satisfaction, these lights were surprisingly bright! love the warm white colors and the color options are a nice bonus!

I absolutely adore the lights. I used them as outdoor porch lights and an indoor closet light. I initially thought the lights would not be bright enough in either area but to my surprise they illuminate well indoors as well as outside even when you change to a specific color. I would like to change every light in my house to this recessed lighting!

All lights can be operated differently. 3 settings of brightness work perfect for different times of the day. You can use lamp cord, way cheaper, to run wiring. Remodeling our lake house and used 12 lights above the bar and Hibachi grill, no shadows and the colors are fun! These were a home run!

These lights are awesome. They come with 3 remotes with battery already installed. Template to cut out holes is sized perfect. You only need to install junction boxes for each light and run the wire. They include screw connectors inside plastic splices to connect the wires outside the junction boxes for easier changeout if you ever need to replace or have hard time reaching your junction box. These lights are amazing! My only critical comment is that the wire on the light is too fine and delicate to easily work with. Otherwise, I'm blown away with the ease of installation and effectiveness of these lights. No problems with the remote. Great color changing and timing features. All at a very accessible price.
