I have both the matte and glossy reds that I used on my MX Ergo. Neither are like the original. Haven't really decided if the glossy is better or worse than the original ball. As a replacement for an M570 ball, it performs just as well and feels smooth.Unfortunately, if you're in a quiet room you can hear friction noise, even if you don't feel it.This is not the case with the OEM ball.(Note for M575 owners: I've seen comments where some people report that the M570 ball is a noticeable improvement replacement. I don't know if this Perixx model would be an improvement or not. Personally, if I had a nice ERGO I'd spend the extra 10 bucks on a 570 OEM replacement ball.

Bought these to replace the trackballs in my Logitech MX Ergo and Ergo M575 and they fit perfectly and the response is perfect. The colors were nice and the silver trackball has a beautiful rainbow-esque shine. They come in a nice box that keeps them secure when stored. If you have either of the mice I mentioned, these are a great replacement to give a little personal touch to your mouse.

EDIT:I have since found the original blue ball and I have to say the original is by far the better one. The one that I bought as a replacement tracks sooo slowly I had to raise my cursor speed from 10 to 16 just to get it to work relatively normally, but it is kind of stuttery and if anyone tells me to clean the nubs inside or clean the little laser inside, I already have. I bought the lavender one solely because I wanted my trackball to match the rest of my desk setup. It fits perfectly. The first day, it felt a little wonky, almost as if it was off-balance, and it didn't spin as smoothly as the original trackball. Not sure if it was out of place, or if it just needed to adjust, but it went away by the second day. I can't tell a difference between this and the OEM trackball. My vain heart is happy.

I have a few color balls, blue, purple, red and what have you and these fit great in my Elecom travel track ball. When it came to making small precise movements, the ball that came stock for the MX Ergo just wasn’t smooth enough. This resulted in my cursor jumping all over the place when attempting to hover over a specific spot. This new ball completely solved that problem, there’s some kind of special coating around this new ball (I got the green one) that makes the ball roll smooth as glass. Definitely recommend
