I have 2 Logitech MX Ergo trackballs (1 for work, and 1 for home). I originally bought one for my desk at work, but at the time I didn't notice too much of a difference (the red just looked better than the stock grey). However, when I bought a second Ergo for home, I noticed the stock ball was a bit tighter and required more force to move around. I thought this was just because it was maybe from a different lot of product, but when I put the Perixx trackball in, BAM! back to being fantastic. No loss of accuracy whatsoever. Feels great and looks great. I would highly recommend this to anyone who struggles with the stock ball
