Review on 🔊 Alpine KTP-445A - 4-Channel 45W RMS X 4 at 4-Ohms Amplifier by Matt Kucrud

Alpine has a real winner in my opinion. I needed something to boost the performance of the CDE148BT main unit to a four speaker, two tweeter system. However, I didn't want to spend the money or time to install the entire amplifier system in my Tacoma. Let's be honest. It's 2001 and I sit in my truck for about an hour every day. I insist on justifying the money I've spent here on a new head unit and power amp. However, this is perfect for the guy who loves his music and wants to hear quality sound during that hour. Installation was as easy as can be if you already have an Alpine head unit. If you don't have an Alpine, they sell the 445U (universal). It took me a whopping 30 minutes to remove the fairing, remove the head unit, install, replace the head unit, replace the fairing. Boom. The amplified sound is clear and without distortion. Installation with an Alpine Twin Head Unit is painless and the price is great for the performance upgrade. I definitely recommend it.
