My husband and I were very pleased with our espresso machine upgrade. We compared the prices and how we now make coffee in the morning. We stumbled across this one and for the price and features we liked what we saw and bought. To be honest we would love to be able to return it. The idea of the car is great, but it has some pretty big flaws. There isn't much room at the bottom for coffee to spill. Where, like we used to do on our old car, we used shot glasses. This is for a mug where you don't have a lot of room to choose what you use. The coffee is not as strong as in our old machine. She has the choice between single and double espresso, cappuccino and latte. When I first used it I thought it might just be that it's new. However, it is very difficult to turn on the rammer without pressing one of the touchscreen buttons. There were a few times I disabled the buttons as there was little room to hold something when putting them on. Another drawback is the milk frother. Either too much foam or not enough milk. We drink 6 shots of latte and with our previous machine we made 1 cup of milk with 6 shots in our cups. This one is about half full of doubles and milk. We've tried many different ways of making coffee, but to be honest it's not much better than our old machine, but our old machine made the coffee stronger. I don't like being negative and complaining. But for people who have done a lot of research and have owned such a device before, we are rather dissatisfied with the purchase and have now lost around $160. We bought it because it had good reviews and we loved it. I like the tank capacity and self-cleaning ability. It's as quiet as can be for an espresso machine. And it's quite medium in size so it doesn't take up much space.
