But that's okay, it works great with my Netgear Nighthawk AC1950 router, which is pretty big for a router, so not much smaller than a panel. I have never used a cooling system. Seal with router but I got tired of swapping out expensive routers every year or so which I think is due to overheating as we work with it quite a bit. This gasket cooled the router by almost 15 degrees Fahrenheit (measured with an IR thermometer) in a matter of minutes -- hot to room temperature Durable I was so impressed with the little fan's capabilities that I bought a small desktop USB fan, to cool him down. modem (it's a vertical model and gets very hot) and this fan connects to the USB pass-through of the cooling pad - very handy - so everything works cool now. Time will tell, but I'm hoping the lining will extend the life of the router and make it a bargain.
