They are actually small enough to be carried on a keychain. The Velcro is strong enough not to be disturbed when opening, yet light enough to open in an emergency. The mask is stored in a small zipper from which it can be easily removed and quickly unfolded. The application is immediately apparent: the plastic film is clearly printed with the "operator side" + the valve is red and centrally located. It has straps that could theoretically be clipped to a person's ears. Of course, if you plan to do CPR on a day-to-day basis for maybe people (e.g. first responders) this is a bit simplistic and a real CPR mask would be better. However, the ease of use + size make it perfect for the average person who wants to be ready "just in case".
