We finally gave up our good old glass tube TV and got a flat screen. We didn't actually need the swingarm, but it came in handy. Wall mounting was pretty easy. The hardest part was figuring out how high to mount the bracket to get the TV at the desired height. I stretched my arms out fully for ease of mounting to the wall. It also helps to connect the TV and plug it in. The brackets are securely attached to the back of the TV, after which you can simply lift the TV and hook the bracket onto the top edge of the wall bracket. Center the TV, and then tighten the screws at the bottom of the TV brackets to secure the TV. Installing a slight down angle was pretty easy too. I docked it in a star shape as the wire clamps aren't very strong. I've already broken one. We are basically satisfied with the wall mount.
