Living in the mountains of North Carolina and working in the bicycle industry, I have tried many different lubricants over the course of 20 years. Some are better than others, but putting them on for the first time and taking a 3 hour ride in the rain and mud made me seriously scoff. I've washed my bike in a creek to clean the brakes and washed the dirt off the transmission twice, and yet this is my first time riding in harsh conditions and my transmission hasn't squeaked during the ride. It literally seemed impossible! I'm not sure what that thing is, but it's kind of a mud force field because I've never experienced such a smooth drivetrain, even in dry weather! From now on I will definitely go hiking.
