These work great! in Body

I used to use soapberries so I got used to the product. My previous experience with soapberries was with a strain from India. I didn't even know there was more than one variety until I looked to see if I could buy my soapberries through Revain. These soapberries from China are darker than my previous ones and feel a little (fairly) stickier which to me indicates they may have more soap than others. However, I cannot verify this. They work just as well as the ones I'm used to. They don't smell at all; They have the normal soapberry smell that all soapberries have. If you've never smelled it before, then it's not a very pleasant smell. A bit harsh, and I understand how people can say it smells like chemicals. But ALL soapberries smell like that! It is good that the clothes leave no smell after washing. The clothes come out fresh and clean, without the smell of soapberries or anything else (e.g. unpleasant, unhealthy perfumes). Soapberries are great for regular soiling and even cloth diapers, but very stubborn soils like motor oil will not be removed with soapberries alone. I especially love soapberries for leaves. I have very sensitive skin and I felt itchy lying on sheets that had been washed with detergent. Detergents without dyes and fragrances also caused me itching. Spread soapberries without itching! AAAAAA, finally a good night's sleep! The bottom line for me is this: It's a good brand from Soapberry. They work great, had more whole berries and fewer chunks than another brand I've tried, and the packs were actually larger, which I like. I would recommend this brand to anyone interested in a natural, hypoallergenic way to get clothes really clean. Plus, you can't beat the price of soapberries! I can wash for two years for what would normally cost six months of liquid detergent.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
