Fantastic socks, especially for the price. I'm a big fan of wool socks. I wear wool in all weather conditions (+100Β°F to below zero) and prefer wool to any other fabric by a large margin. I don't wear cotton socks because I don't like walking around with cold, wet, calloused feet. If you are in the know, you know that wool retains its insulating properties even when wet and, unlike cotton, wool helps prevent blisters from forming. Wool also stinks less if you air it between wears, but it should be washed at least every second of use. I prefer Dachstein 100% wool socks but they can be very expensive. It is a wool blend of 75% merino wool and 25% synthetic fibers (15% nylon, 10% elastic). I expect them to last up to 3 years or more with daily wear (with rotation). I will update this review if they fail sooner. These Meriwool socks look and feel like expensive Thorlo brand socks for a lot less money; At the time of writing this they are selling 3 pack for $18.99 which is very decent value for merino wool. Grab a few packs and spoil your feet!
