Only bought this a few months ago and used it probably 10 times I was hoping it would last 10 years. The microfiber pads feel great and don't seem to wear out at all so each pad will probably last a year so I think the mop will too. I was so disappointed when it broke where the handle meets the head. It was also the third time I used it when it started to squeak annoyingly at that joint so the design wasn't well planned. There is a metal rivet holding 2 plastic parts together. If it's going to get wet it should be designed so it doesn't squeak when it gets wet and then sit outside to dry, as I'm sure everyone does when they're done mopping and spraying the mop . I checked at the store where it came from but I don't see any way to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. I'll look elsewhere and call Amazon if I have to, but actually I'd rather take it all back and try another mop now. Unfortunately I can't issue a refund because of this as I've had it for quite some time :/
