I was looking for rails in a recently renovated restroom and the only thing I could find at my local large department store were the rails, which felt a bit too formal. These Kingston Brass Milano bars (I have polished chrome) look sleek, are solidly built and get the job done perfectly. Please note that it is almost impossible to buy bars that fall on a set of cleats. This means that when mounting horizontally, wall anchors are used on at least one end. I bought two poles, these 30 inch poles that I installed horizontally and a shorter 18 inch pole that installed vertically on a post near the shower entrance. Securing the end without a bolt can be a problem. My bathtub is fully tiled which means the tiles will need drilling (use a concrete drill) and in my case screws. It's strong and I'm sure it can support any reasonable weight.
