This is an amazing monitor. It fits my 14 inch Dell laptop when I carry it in my backpack. It was important to me that the monitor didn't crack. If I use the monitor without connecting the laptop to a network, I can get several hours of battery life from the laptop. Easily dim and turn off the monitor when not in use. It's very convenient to have multiple monitors when I'm working in a client's office and working on projects when I'm not in the office. I wish it had its own battery, but that would add weight, which would have a negative impact. So remember that your laptop can be connected to the power supply if necessary. It's a great addition to my Warrior/Travelling/Away from Office street work environment!
