I needed a new computer chair just because the old one was worn out. I started an internet process trying to rate different chairs. I kept coming back to it and I'm glad I did. It took a little longer to get the chair than I would have liked because of the West Coast fires, but there's nothing to be done about that. I opened the box and everything was there, including the instructions. I accepted an offer from another buyer that I will pass on: use the box as a work surface to assemble the chair. Took me about 35-40 minutes. I used a socket set, not the hex wrench that came with it. This simplifies assembly considerably. If you don't know, tighten the screws and gradually move to others until the entire part is tight. It would be possible to strip the threads with a set of sockets, so be careful not to overdo it. The hardest part of the assembly was attaching the backrest to the seat. Make sure the holes line up fairly, then screw in the screws and you're good to go. If you attach the assembled chair to the base, someone else will really help you. I felt great relief when I was able to sit in that chair. . It is durable yet very comfortable. I sat in some of them that had too much padding. I've only had it 3 days but yesterday I did a 2 hour zoom presentation and apart from the general feeling of sitting too long I didn't get sick anywhere and just feel comfortable in this chair. This chair rocks easily and feels solid. I would not recommend this chair if you are over 6ft tall. I'm 5ft 9in and it's just right. Overall this is a good deal for the money.
