Review on 🎾 Ultimate Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy Tool: SACSTAR Double Massage Ball with Movable Lacrosse Ball and Stick by Luke Einarson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does the job but is unsure of the value of the design.

Why I have this: I already have a foam roller at home, but it's one of the larger ones (36 inches long, 6 inches diameter). My husband and I like to use it post-workout for our sore muscles (but due to its size we can't always hit all muscle groups easily (calfs and calves) but it doesn't always work well on the lower or upper back as the whole roll is just a level one cylinder is. I got this dual ball massager in hopes it could pinpoint spots that are harder to reach with a large roller. I was interested in the design which was an advertisement where instead of individual lacrosse balls you could move them along the stick so they were wider or narrower depending on the muscle and therefore you could apply pressure to more specific areas. some rigid foam with some texture to them. I've been able to put my weight on it and am a bit concerned that part of the stick might break over time, but so far that hasn't happened so that's a plus! and bad. The good thing is that it stays in place during the massage. The bad news is that they're a bit difficult to pull off. They need two hands or the ground to push off. I was trying to figure out if the design really matters (two balls per stick) or if I could just buy a smaller foam roller or regular lacrosse balls. As far as I can tell, the best thing about the design isn't so much the self-massage as whether you'd like someone to help you massage it. I was able to hit my husband's back muscles more easily with the device. I was able to hold both ends of the stick and then bend down a bit to put a good amount of pressure on his sore back muscles, which was great. If you're using it to massage someone else, the handles aren't great for that. They have no support and when my husband put them on me he pushed them down and slipped and hit his face with them. So be careful when collaborating with someone else. It still works my leg muscles, so it can still be used for that. I like it on the calves because it works the muscles on both sides. It also works well on the neck, but you'll need to tilt your head and neck to locate the muscle when you're lying on the floor. The problem is that the device is too small to really dig into your neck while you're lying on the floor, so you have to twist and turn a bit to create that much pressure, and at that point you're using a ball, so not sure what the design point is going to do here. The same problem with the glutes. You can aim for the buttocks much easier here, but I don't know if the design made a difference. Final Comments: Pros: - Does the job I was hoping for as it can also hit other muscles I couldn't reach. I've never used a large foam roller before. He helps me massage my husband, which in turn helps me because my hands hurt sometimes. Anything that can help me massage him without hurting myself is fine. - The quality of the product seems decent and durable so far. who will probably still do the same job
