This is an updated review of this product. The seller contacted me shortly after I posted my first review of the product. To be honest I didn't care as the cost was minimal. First of all I have to say that I was very impressed with the way they stood behind their product and their persistent efforts to keep their customers happy. In fact, they spent time and effort sending me some replacement products. The first failed shipment was due to the Revain package not being able to be delivered to my regular Revain locker. I don't blame the seller for that. Then they made another attempt to send me home. Second, the end result upon arrival was a flawless installation as shown in the attached image. i will be honest It took a little more effort and patience to align and install the replacement screen protector. I again followed the directions and used all the tissues and clothing provided, but getting rid of the dust turned out to be the biggest problem. The leveling tape adhered better this time and did not come off when the protective film was applied. Again, the product pretty much sticks to the iPad on its own and I just had to smooth out the air bubbles towards the nearest edge and they were gone. Installation Tips: 1.) BE SURE to press the guide band against the back of the iPad to ensure the hinge is securely installed. 2.) DO NOT imitate the installation video. Instead, place 3 guide stickers along the "long" side of the iPad3.) MAKE SURE you follow the cleaning instructions in the video. absorbent tape, do not dab) I have updated my original rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. I think the product itself is 4 stars (requires extra effort to install and it's a fingerprint magnet but wipes easily) but worth the purchase. 5th star really for customer service. I would buy a product from this manufacturer again at any time and would be happy to recommend it. INITIAL REVIEW - 3 stars. I read the installation document and also watched the installation on youtube. The results were mixed. Pros - Both the installation document that came with it and the online instructions were clear - Sticking the screen works really well on the main part of the screen - Air bubbles are easy to squeeze out and actually did most of the work on the screen. own - screen is crystal clear Minus - the supplied guide tapes have poor adhesion. One of the guides came loose after I had already removed the plastic screen cover while flipping the glass screen protector on the iPad. This of course set off a chain of events where I tried to align the screen protector with the only remaining guide tape, resulting in a slight misalignment of the installation. This extra maneuvering caused some fine dust particles to settle on the screen, but there's no troubleshooting information or video in the installation document on how to gently lift the attached screen protector and remove the dust. Eventually I managed to get under the protective film and use a dust removal tape to remove the dust particles. I was finally able to complete the installation, but there is a corner that won't stick to the iPad screen no matter how hard I try. Click on this corner. Luckily I also bought a silicone case with a rim around the iPad. This helps keep that part of the screen protector on the screen, but only time will tell how long this screen protector continues to fit snugly to the iPad.
