Perfect for travel - my new review

I bought these pants for our pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Look great, light weight in hot weather and easily convert to shorts and back, where required!

Great pants (and I’m picky)

I am absolutely impressed with these pants! I’m an avid hiker/backpacker and generally stick with name brands like Athleta, Eddie Bauer, and Duluth because I need women’s tall sizes. This purchase was for my 12 year old son. We wanted lightweight work pants for a volunteer trail maintenance job where he’ll be wading through ivy and thorns.I am extremely impressed with the style and honestly the quality is way above what I expected. I’ve had a lot of bad luck with strange brands on here coming…

Worth the purchase - my new review

Very very solid. Super comfortable, really convenient for the summer, camping, hiking and out door events. Somewhat water resistant. Decent amount of pockets. Well worth the purchase.

Pros
  • Worked well, I took them to Africa for 3 weeks. Washed well and dried overnight.

  • The pants are not true to size, running too big or small

VERY LIGHT WEIGHT good for me

I like this design pants and have owned both Columbia brand and off brands. The off brands tend to not be as durable. However, these seem to be well made. I also like that it has a zipper, since my original Columbia pants do not.

Perfect Pants in my review

Son received these for Christmas and reported how well they fit, felt and heft of the fabric. Since they convert to shorts by unzipping the legs it’s a bonus when you get hot or need swimming trunks. He asked for a second pair!

The fabric is great ,but the belt is to short.The size chart was misleading to me. I returned them and order larger size pants.

Great pants, great feel, great fit, both casual and sports.

I was a Columbia only person and this hiking pants is better in fit, great belt and they got my desired color. Thumbs up. The shorts ride up when walking, creating discomfort!

Better value and just as good functionality as 70$ Northface convertibles. Also, not as bummed if I mess them up. Poor quality fabric that wrinkles easily.

Light weight in my review

I am so happy I purchased these pants! I actually purchased 4 pairs and really like them all. Only a minor complaint is the seam where the pants split into shorts rides on my knees. Not a big issue at all. I would buy more colors if they had them.

very lightweight in my review

i use these for golfing. i want something very light akin to fishing shorts. these were the closest i can find to some columbia titanium convertible pants many years ago, and for a fraction of the price i paid. great overall.

Stiching On Velcro Tab Not Done Well

Bought 2 of these pants, one grey and one light green. You can see by the pics that the stitching on the velcro tabs is coming apart. The other pair of pants are fine, sending this one back. Will update my review after my replacement pair comes. I really do like the other pair though!

Good lightweight pants/shorts, but hard to zip legs back on

Overall very well made shorts/pants! I wear these for hiking and for running and they are always great to wear. Only downside is the pant legs are a bit troublesome to reattach occasionally.

Great Material and Quality, but WEIRD fit!

I've had other pants of similar design. These would have been perfect, except that the shorts are so long that the detachable zipper ride across the center of my knee cap, making in very uncomfortable to walk with or without the extensions zipped on! Its hard to imagine anyone might have a longer upper leg and a shorter lower leg, but if they did, these pants would be perfect!
